First training session
New member intake
Section titled “New member intake”Karate is a versatile form of training that offers personal growth, a social environment, and a better foundation for succeeding with your studies in a hectic everyday life. Universitetets karateklubb (UKK) is the oldest karate club on the Hill. We train the style Chito-ryu, but as a student club we’re also open to members who have trained other styles.
Karate is a form of training that suits everyone. You don’t need any prior knowledge or skills - you’ll pick those up along the way.
We accept new beginners all year round, but we also cooperate with Sammen treningssenter on a free trial period in August (weeks 33-34) and January (weeks 3-4). Your first sessions with us are always free, but you’ll otherwise need to pay for entry to our dojo yourself.
Feel free to contact us for more information (email: styret.ukk@gmail.com) or just show up at one of our beginners’ sessions in light training clothes.
Training times can be found here.
